Preschool

           
     The preschool department at First Baptist Church is a great place to build the beginning foundations of faith.  You will find lots of loving volunteers that will help your children as they start to develop a spiritual understanding.
     Our vision for preschool is threefold:

1. To lay a spiritual foundation for preschoolers through Bible thoughts, stories and songs.
2. To provide a safe and secure environment with loving and caring teachers.
3. To attract and reach not only preschoolers but their families with the Gospel.

     Sunday school classes are provided each week where the children are placed into development-appropriate classes.  Infants, toddlers, and walkers have their own rooms, while 2, 3, and 4 year old children are placed in classrooms following birth date guidelines.
     Childcare is provided for birth through 4 year olds for all church-wide activities.  The nursery is open 15 minutes prior to the beginning of scheduled events.

Parents of preschoolers at First Baptist Church may leave their children with the assurance that all children's workers have passed background checks.  Strict rules for childcare are in place and monitored.
